Visit our reading rooms to search for and view records. We have reading rooms in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin.

Christchurch Office's Reading Room hours

The public reading room of Archives New Zealand's Christchurch office is open. The opening hours are currently 9.30am to 1.00pm, Monday to Friday, with last orders at 12.30pm.
 

Wellington Office's Reading Room hours

Wellington: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5pm
Please note: From 29 May 2013, the Reading Room will open at 9:30 am on Wednesdays.
