The Technical Specifications for Electronic Recordkeeping Metadata Standard describe information about records and the contexts in which they are captured and used. Archives New Zealand recommends that the information supplied in this guide be used to ensure that systems used by public offices and local authorities in New Zealand capture the necessary information to enable recordkeeping requirements to be fulfilled.
