Government Digital Archive secures Rosetta system

Archives New Zealand, Te Rua Mahara o te Kāwanatanga, has selected the Ex Libris Rosetta Digital Preservation System to manage the Government Digital Archive.

Government Budget funding of $12.6 million was announced in June 2010 by the Minister Responsible for Archives New Zealand Hon Nathan Guy for a digital archive that will provide a secure system to store, preserve and give ongoing access to important public records.

The new digital archive will be created by extending the National Library’s National Digital Heritage Archive system.
