The Social Pages contain items across a whole cross-spectrum of themes, ranging from food and fashion, to travel memorabilia and the arts, to sport and entertainment.
They are items from the lighter, social side of life, which Nash accumulated during a lifetime of travel and social engagements as a high status Member of Parliament and Prime Minister.
From messages of congratulation sent to gold medalists, Peter Snell and Murray Halberg, to beautifully grafted theatre guides and travel certificates, to postcards from Paris, Walter Nash was a great keeper of social memorabilia.
