One-off Disposal Authority: List Template Guidance

If you are undertaking a one-off appraisal then a list of the records being covered by the appraisal is an essential requirement. Whether you need to list every item individually or list by record classes depends on the nature of the records being covered. For records that are routine in nature, of an identical type, and voluminous, (for example financial receipts, time sheets, or personnel files) listing by class is an appropriate option. Where records form part of a complex system and individual titles or descriptions are important, for example registered subject files, records should be listed individually.
