You can view and comment on current disposal recommendations, or intentions to dispose, within the appraisal reports and disposal schedules that have been submitted for the Chief Archivist’s approval on the Intentions to Dispose page. Please note that only comments about disposal recommendations will be assessed as part of this process, for example:
Hardcopies and additional information may also be requested from email@example.com by quoting the Appraisal ID number. If you wish to be advised by email when new Intentions to Dispose are posted on the website, please email ‘subscribe’ to firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you wish to comment, please complete the online Disposal Comment Form below before the comment due date. Alternatively you can download the Disposal Comment Form and post or fax it.
Once this process is complete, the Chief Archivist’s final approval is given through the issue of a disposal authority to the public office.
