General Description:

This Appraisal Report seeks to amend the disposal action for class 2.1 in DA255 which refers to Formal Complaints received by the Broadcasting Standards Authority (BSA). Currently the relevant disposal action is 'To be appraised'; this has meant that the BSA have been required to appraise complaints files annually, using identical disposal criteria in each case. The report recommends incorporating those criteria into the ongoing schedule.
