Open Source Digital Preservation Software Demonstration from NAA

Michael Carden, digital preservation software manager from the National Archives of Australia will demonstrate the National Archives of Australia’s open source digital preservation software. The focus is on how to install, configure and use the Digital Preservation Recorder. Copies of the software will be available to take away from this event.
 
The Digital Preservation Recorder (DPR) has been developed by the National Archives of Australia to manage a digital preservation workflow. It features antivirus integration and makes use of the Xena framework for preservation conversions of data objects.
