The Minister of Internal Affairs, Hon Amy Adams, is the Minister responsible for Archives New Zealand. She has been Minister of Internal Affairs since December 2011.
Adams is also the Minister for Communications and Information Technology and the Associate Minister for the Canterbury Earthquake Recovery. The Internal Affairs portfolio also includes responsibility for the National Library of New Zealand.
